Canadian, prolific and entirely unembarrassed about what she writes, Elle Kennedy has been publishing contemporary romance and romantic suspense for well over a decade, and holds a RITA Award from the Romance Writers of America for her trouble. She grew up in the suburbs of Toronto and has written full time for most of her adult life, at a pace that would exhaust a small publishing house.

Her signature is the college sports romance, and specifically the fictional Briar University, where hockey players fall in love badly and at length.
