Who is Francis Foster?

Francis Foster is a British author, comedian and podcast host whose background is rather less tidy than the job title suggests. Born to a British father and a Venezuelan mother, he grew up between London and Venezuela, and his first language was Spanish, not English. He has spoken openly about being diagnosed with severe ADHD as a child, and says he still meditates every morning to keep himself focused.

He earned his stripes in stand-up, opening for comedians including Eddie Izzard, Paul Chowdhry and Jeff Garlin, and works as a political commentator besides. That combination – comic timing welded to an appetite for argument – is what defines his public voice.
