Taylor Jenkins Reid, born in 1983, is an American novelist and one of the defining commercial storytellers of her generation. She has written nine novels, several of which reached number one on the New York Times bestseller list – a strike rate most writers would happily retire on.
Her name was made by a remarkable run of titles: The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo, Daisy Jones & the Six, One True Loves, Malibu Rising, Carrie Soto Is Back and Atmosphere. It is a body of work that has turned her into that comparatively rare publishing phenomenon: an author readers follow from book to book, rather than one they discover by accident and forget by spring.
