Trinny Woodall, born in 1964, is a British beauty entrepreneur and businesswoman, and the founder of the cosmetics brand Trinny London. Long before that, she was one half of the most recognisable double act in British fashion television: with Susannah Constantine she wrote a weekly style column for The Daily Telegraph, and in 2001 the pair were commissioned by the BBC to present What Not to Wear.
The show made Trinny and Susannah household names and led to further television projects, books and clothing ranges. Woodall’s second act as a beauty entrepreneur has arguably outgrown the first, but the through-line is consistent: a brisk, practical belief that how you present yourself to the world is worth taking seriously.
