Who is Chris McCausland?

Chris McCausland, born in 1977, is an English actor and comedian. Television audiences first knew him as Rudi in the CBeebies show Me Too!, and he remains a regular at comedy venues including The Comedy Store. McCausland is blind as a result of retinitis pigmentosa – a fact he has never allowed to define the limits of the career.

Then came the moment that turned a respected circuit comic into a national favourite: in December 2024 he won series 22 of the BBC’s Strictly Come Dancing with professional partner Dianne Buswell, and in 2025 he received a BAFTA award.
