Grant Cardone (born 21 March 1958) is an American businessman, financial influencer and writer – a run of job titles that tells you a good deal about the man before you press play. He is the founder and chief executive of Cardone Capital and Cardone Training Technologies, and in 2010 he wrote If You’re Not First, You’re Last, which became a New York Times bestseller.
Cardone belongs to the maximalist school of American business communication: sales, scale and relentless self-belief, delivered at volume. Listeners tend to divide sharply on him – for some the energy is rocket fuel, for others it is exhausting – but there is no disputing that he has built companies, and a very large audience, on the back of it.
