Blue Skies Ahead is a promise made in the title, and it is exactly the sort of promise a certain kind of fiction exists to keep: things will be difficult for a while, and then they will be better.
Jessica Redland writes on the general fiction shelf, and our catalogue groups this title within The Blue Skies Collection, a heading which suggests books meant to be read alongside one another rather than a strictly numbered saga. Nine and a half hours is the classic build for warm, character-led storytelling, long enough for a community to assemble itself around whoever stands at the centre.
We take the work at its word here and add nothing to it.
