Very short non-fiction is a form in its own right, and LOTHAR WEBER works squarely inside it. The recordings we hold run a little over an hour apiece, which places them closer to a long essay than to a conventional book, and the health and wellbeing shelf is where both of them sit.
The pairing is instructive. Alone Together looks to the social side of wellbeing, if the title is any guide, while The Low-Inflammation Lifestyle takes the physiological route. Between them they sketch a view of health as something with two halves, the body and the company it keeps, and both are delivered at a length that assumes a listener wants the substance without the scaffolding.
