Who is Whitley Strieber?

Whitley Strieber, born Louis Whitley Strieber in 1945, is an American writer who has run two careers in parallel with unusual nerve. The first made him a horror novelist of note, author of The Wolfen and The Hunger. The second made him something stranger: with Communion, a nonfiction account of his alleged experiences with non-human entities, he became one of the best-known advocates of the unexplained.

He has kept both tracks running ever since – fiction on one side, bestselling metaphysical nonfiction on the other – supported by his Unknown Country website and his podcast, Dreamland.
