Hannah Fry, born in 1984, is a British mathematician, author and broadcaster, and currently the first Professor of the Public Understanding of Mathematics at the University of Cambridge, where she is a fellow of Queens’ College. She is also president of the Institute of Mathematics and its Applications, having previously been Professor of the Mathematics of Cities at University College London.
