What the numbers do show is a respectable 4.3 average for an opening volume, and nothing about a ten hour cosy mystery narrated by Nicolette McKenzie sets off alarm bells. My score is deliberately conservative: promising, likeable on paper, but not yet proven by a crowd. If you take the plunge and enjoy it, you will be doing the rest of us a service by adding your voice.
