David Attenborough Audiobooks

Sir David Attenborough, born in 1926, is an English broadcaster, natural historian and writer whose presenting career has spanned seven decades – from Zoo Quest in 1954 through the nine series of the Life Collection to The Blue Planet, Frozen Planet and the Planet Earth franchise. He is the only person to have won BAFTA Awards in black-and-white, colour, high-definition, 3D and 4K, and has collected three Primetime Emmys for Outstanding Narrator along the way.

He was a senior BBC manager too – controller of BBC Two and director of programming for BBC Television in the 1960s and 1970s – but it is the voice the world knows: a delivery once described as a patented semi-whisper. His later work has grown more openly urgent, advocating for biodiversity, renewable energy and action on climate change. Widely considered a national treasure in the UK, he is famously unwilling to embrace the term.
